Patrik Laine took to the ice at the Bell Centre, participating in the full morning skate with his teammates just hours ahead of tonight’s game against the Vegas Golden Knights.
The big Finnish winger appears to be nearing a return to action, and it seems only a matter of days before he’s back in the lineup.

Also, regarding today’s developments with the Canadiens, please note that goalie Samuel Montembeault will once again be back in net for the team.
He will face a tough challenge against the Vegas Golden Knights, going up against players like Jack Eichel, Shea Theodore, and company.

Montembeault, 28, has a record of 6-8-1 this season with a 2.85 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage
.In his career, he has a 55-68-22 record with a 3.34 goals-against average and a .898 save percentage.
Clearly, he has the trust of his head coach right now and is well ahead of Cayden Primeau in the pecking order.
