A rare photo of former WWE Diva Sable alongside her husband, Brock Lesnar, has surfaced, drawing attention from fans worldwide. Sable, who has maintained a low profile since leaving professional wrestling, rarely makes public appearances. However, over the weekend, musician Michelle Wright shared a backstage snapshot, featuring the couple, on social media.
Wright posted the photo after her concert, captioning it:
“The Great Canadian Roadtrip! It’s always great to come back to Regina. Thanks for a fantastic night. It was nice to have Brock Lesnar (American professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist) and his lovely wife Rena (better known as Sable, an American retired model, actress, and professional wrestler) at the show. Darn it I missed out on the picture, but they sure are good folks.”
This rare public appearance of Sable, whose real name is Rena Lesnar, has sparked a wave of nostalgia among wrestling fans, as she remains one of the most iconic figures in WWE history. Known for her trailblazing persona in the late 1990s, Sable left an indelible mark on professional wrestling before retiring to lead a private life with her family.
Why Brock Lesnar Hasn’t Returned to WWE
While Sable’s reemergence has thrilled fans, her husband Brock Lesnar has also been in the spotlight—but for entirely different reasons. The former WWE Universal Champion and UFC Heavyweight Champion hasn’t been seen in WWE programming for months, and his absence has fueled speculation.
In January, a former WWE employee, Janel Grant, filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE. The allegations in the lawsuit include disturbing claims of sexual assault, emotional abuse, and sex trafficking. Vince McMahon resigned from his WWE and TKO duties shortly after, continuing to deny the allegations.
The lawsuit also mentioned “a world-famous athlete and former UFC Heavyweight Champion with whom WWE was actively trying to sign to a new contract.” Although the individual was not named, reports from the Wall Street Journal suggest this refers to Brock Lesnar. His planned Royal Rumble return was subsequently canceled, and WWE appears to have distanced itself from Lesnar, who has not appeared in the company since.
Despite his absence from WWE, Lesnar remains one of the most celebrated figures in wrestling and combat sports history. Fans are left wondering if and when “The Beast Incarnate” will return to the squared circle. For now, Lesnar and Sable appear content enjoying life away from the spotlight.
