Brian Priske Set to Become New Rangers Manager After Alternative Deal Falls Through…..

Rangers Football Club are reportedly on the verge of appointing Danish coach Brian Priske as their new manager following weeks of speculation and a collapsed deal elsewhere.

The 48-year-old tactician, who previously led Sparta Prague and FC Midtjylland to league titles, is seen as a strong candidate to guide the Ibrox side back to domestic dominance. Priske has been out of work since parting ways with Feyenoord in February, but his track record in European football appears to have impressed the Rangers board.

According to multiple sources, negotiations with Priske have progressed rapidly after a potential move to another unnamed club reportedly broke down, paving the way for Rangers to secure his signature.

The managerial seat at Rangers has been vacant since Philippe Clement was dismissed in February. Club legend Barry Ferguson stepped in as interim manager for the remainder of the season but failed to impress, with Rangers finishing well behind Celtic and setting a few unwanted Scottish Premiership records in the process. Ferguson is not expected to remain in the role.

With fans calling for a strong rebuild and a clear footballing vision, Priske’s appointment could be the fresh start the club needs heading into the 2025/26 season.
