A Boston Bruins insider just revealed that a key player will be returning tonight to the Bruins-Senators lineup tonight and it changes things.
Boston Bruins insider Matt Porter revealed yesterday while the Boston Bruins were in New Jersey preparing to take on the New Jersey Devils, the Ottawa Senators were in Boston preparing for their game today.

At practice yesterday, Porter revealed that the Ottawa Senators are set to get a key player back in their lineup.

Matt Porter was present at the Ottawa Senators morning practice at TD Garden, and revealed that David Perron is set to rejoin the Ottawa Senators lineup after being out since November 23rd with a back injury.

From Porter:

At Senators practice in Boston: David Perron (back injury, out since Nov. 23), returns tomorrow vs. Bruins. Linus Ullmark skated before practice but remains out.

He also revealed some big news regarding former Boston Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark.

Ullmark made his return to the ice, ahead of the Senators practice, but will not be apart of their lineup when they face off against the Boston Bruins.

Linus Ullmark has unfortunately been out of the Senators lineup since December 22nd when he left their game against the Edmonton Oilers with a upper-body injury, which was later revealed as a back injury.

The Senators have been good without Ullmark, and currently hold the second wild card spot tied with the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens.

The bad news is the Ottawa Senators have two games in hand on the Boston Bruins, to say tonight is a must win game for them and their playoff hopes is an understatement..
