CINCINNATI — Chiefs star defensive tackle Chris Jones is hoping to help Kansas City get past the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday.
Jones met with the media on Monday night. He was asked which AFC team is the toughest to deal with every year.
“I’m gonna say the Cincinnati Bengals,” Jones said. “They’re always at the close. Unfortunately injuries have played a huge part in their lack of success. I have so much respect for the Cincinnati Bengals.”
Joe Burrow and the Bengals are one of just three teams to beat Kansas City in the playoffs during the Pat Mahomes era.
Tom Brady led the Patriots and the Buccaneers past the Chiefs. Meanwhile, Burrow is 3-2 against Kansas City in his career. The Chiefs have won three-straight games against the Bengals, including two with Burrow on the field.
Jones also mentioned Josh Allen and the Bills and Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.
