Victoria Beckham took center stage as she engaged in an animated conversation with a beaming King Charles during a glamorous royal dinner last night.
The Spice Girls star, 50, dazzled in one of her own designs—a flowing white gown from her Victoria Beckham fashion line—while chatting with the monarch, as her proud husband, David Beckham, looked on.
Victoria and David were surprise guests at the exclusive event, held at Highgrove, the King’s private residence in Gloucestershire, to promote Anglo-Italian relations. Other notable attendees included designer Donatella Versace and actor Stanley Tucci.
David, 49, was named an ambassador for the King’s Foundation last year, a charity that oversees Highgrove. He has even had private meetings with King Charles, bonding over their shared love of the countryside—and, unexpectedly, beekeeping. Conveniently, his own sprawling Cotswolds estate is just a 30-minute drive away.
The event was organized in anticipation of the King and Queen’s upcoming State Visits to the Holy See and the Republic of Italy in early April, which were officially announced this week.
