The big Finnish winger appears to be nearing a return to action, and it seems only a matter of days before he’s back in the lineup.

He will face a tough challenge against the Vegas Golden Knights, going up against players like Jack Eichel, Shea Theodore, and company.

Montembeault, 28, has a record of 6-8-1 this season with a 2.85 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage

.In his career, he has a 55-68-22 record with a 3.34 goals-against average and a .898 save percentage.

Clearly, he has the trust of his head coach right now and is well ahead of Cayden Primeau in the pecking order.
