Carlos Alcaraz has edged closer to Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev in the latest ATP Rankings, following his triumph at the Rotterdam Open.
With Sinner and Zverev opting to rest after their Australian Open campaigns, their positions remained unchanged. Sinner holds onto the No. 1 spot with 11,830 points, as his Rotterdam Open points from last year have yet to drop due to the tournament’s scheduling shift. Zverev, still ranked No. 2, remains at 8,135 points.
Meanwhile, Alcaraz took full advantage of his time on court. By securing his first indoor hardcourt title in Rotterdam, the Spaniard added 500 points to his tally, bringing his total to 7,510. Though he remains in third place, he has significantly closed the gap on Zverev and Sinner.
Taylor Fritz and Casper Ruud also retained their rankings. Fritz, who was eliminated in the second round of the Dallas Open, gained 50 points to reach 5,100. Ruud, after finishing as the runner-up in Dallas, added 320 points to his total, now standing at 4,480.
