Novak Djokovic has confirmed that he will continue working with coach Andy Murray in the coming months.

Their partnership, which stunned the tennis world in November 2024, saw the Serbian great bring his former rival on board as a coach, creating one of the sport’s most iconic collaborations.

Murray’s coaching debut with Djokovic came at the 2025 Australian Open, where the 24-time Grand Slam champion reached the semifinals before retiring against Alexander Zverev. Initially, the arrangement was intended only for the tournament, with both parties planning to evaluate their future afterward.

With Djokovic absent from competition for some time, speculation arose about whether the partnership would continue. However, recent reports confirmed their ongoing collaboration, and Djokovic himself has now addressed the situation.

Speaking to Serbian publication Sportal ahead of the 2025 Qatar Open in Doha, the World No. 7 shared insights into their agreement.

“My coach has stayed. We have an agreement to work for an indefinite period. He will be in America, and after that, in a few clay court tournaments, and after that, we will make an agreement.”

Djokovic confirmed that Murray will next join him for the Sunshine Double, meaning the British legend will not be present for the ATP 500 event in Doha.
